Ecuadorian Army sends protection supplies to the military that make up the Joint Task Force in Guayas and other parts of the country.
On Thursday morning, the Ecuadorian Army, Telconet and FAME SA will deliver protection supplies to send to the military who are part of the Guayas Joint Task Force, created to control compliance with the movement restriction measures in that province, to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The products and materials that will be sent to Guayaquil to the soldiers of the Second Division of Libertad Army, who are forming part of the Guayas Joint Task Force, as well as to other military units in the country," the Army statement said.
Logistics Command No. 25 sends 2 rolls of cloth, 5,000 combat rations, 15 pairs of steel-toed rubber boots, 15 white reusable protective suits, 30 reusable blue protective suits, 300 blue protective suits (disposable, for common use), 15 half-face respirators, 30 filters for half-face respirator, 40 N95 masks, 1800 nitrile gloves, 15 biological protective glasses, 500 surgical gloves, 50 half-liter gel bottles, 150 Kits of soap, detergent and disinfectant.
The Telconet company donated 300 non-disposable biosecurity suits and 200 disposable biosecurity suits, manufactured by FAME S.A., which also donated 300 biosafety suits aimed at the Army's main health centers.
The supplies, which will also go to other parts of the country, will be delivered to the Army General Command, inside the Ministry of Defense Complex, this Thursday, at 10:30.
