ALCOHOL ON SUNDAYS...

Now you can buy alcohol on Sundays....

Beginning May 31st 2016, by ministerial agreement 7231, the Ministry of Government approved the sale of alcoholic beverages on Sundays in convenience stores, gas stations and supermarkets. Alcoholic beverages can only be consumed at home and restaurants as an accompaniment to meals. The ministerial agreement also ratifies the prohibition of alcohol consumption in public places; this agreement is seeking to boost the economy.
